How Do I Feed Kibbled Maize?
Kibbled Maize is best fed mixed sparingly into a seed mix and fed from a hanging feeder, a bird table or the ground.

Kibbled maize is readily taken by most birds, sparrows, doves and pigeons in particular enjoy miaze.

Our Kibbled Maize is available in plastic free 15kg Paper Sack and 20kg Paper Sack options. Our smaller bag sizes (5kg) are made of a recyclable plastic. Can I Feed Kibbled Maize All-Year Round?
Absolutely, Kibbled Maize is suitable for year round feeding.
Can Kibbled Maize be fed around pets?
Kibbled Maize does not contain raisins or sultanas.
Kibbled Maize is a palatable source of highly digestible energy, containing high levels of starch and carbohydrates it is an ideal food source for the colder months and the busy breeding season. We only use kibbled maize as the small size is more accessible to wild birds than flaked or whole maize.
When feeding maize to wild birds we recommend mixing it sparingly into a seed mix. Due to the kibbled nature of the maize it will not grow in your garden.
Chickens also LOVE kibbled maize and it is a brilliant energy source for them when fed as a daily treat or mixed with their usual daily food.
Delivery:
Staying true to why we started Peckamix, we still make all our bird food to order in small batches and process it all by hand. This means your bird food is as fresh as possible and hasn't been sat in a warehouse for months. This does however mean we are unlikely to despatch your order same day as we need to make it for you! Please allow 3-5 days for your order to arrive.
Orders over £40 qualify for free delivery to most parts of the UK Mainland. Postcode exclusions apply, details can be found here.
For orders under £40 there is a £3.95 delivery charge.
Returns:
You have the right to return any unwanted goods up to a maximum period of 30 days after you receive the goods. If you cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you are responsible for returning the goods at your own expense.
