Can I Feed This All-Year Round?
Absolutely, suet isn’t just for Christmas! Suet is a valuable food source all year round, during the breeding season it is a quick energy dense food to help fuel busy parents while they find food for their young. During the winter suet is a great food source for wild birds to help them maintain a healthy weight to aid their survival through the colder months.
These suet pellets are some of the softest on the market and easily eaten by wild birds, most suet pellets are dry and hard. Suet is an energy dense high protein food source which is suitable for feeding at any time of year.
Feed as part of a seed mix, as a straight, scattered on a bird table or ground tray or hidden around the garden for the birds to find. Suet is a favourite of tits, woodpeckers, nuthatches and finches.
Starlings also go mad for suet so to reduce the chance of them emptying your feeders in search of suet pellets try providing them with their own easy to access supply of suet pellets and they should leave your feeders alone.
Non-melting formula to ensure clean feeding year-round for the birds in your garden and easy to handle no matter the weather.
