How Do I Feed Whole Peanuts?
Whole peanuts are best fed from a mesh peanut feeder, particularly during spring and summer to prevent them becoming a choking hazard to young birds. At other times of the year whole peanuts can be fed from bird tables and ground tables where they will be gratefully accepted by many species.

Recyclable Packaging:
Our Whole Peanuts are available in plastic free 15kg Paper Sack and 20kg Paper Sack options. Our smaller bag sizes (1.5kg and 5kg) are made of a recyclable plastic. Can this seed be fed around pets?
Our Whole Peanuts do not contain any sultanas or raisins.
Whole peanuts are a garden classic! Containing around 50% oil, peanuts are an energy dense, protein, fat and fibre rich food source. They attract a wide range of wild birds including tits, finches, woodpeckers & nuthatches. We currently stock aflatoxin tested 60/70 grade whole peanuts.
Whole peanuts are a valuable food source all year round for many wild birds.
Peanuts are graded by how many peanuts fit in the average hand, most cheaper varieties are 80/90 grade.
NOTE: During spring and summer it is advised to feed peanuts from a mesh peanut feeder as large peanuts can pose a choking hazard to young fledglings. Alternatively if feeding loose, try our kibbled peanuts.
Delivery:
Staying true to why we started Peckamix, we still make all our bird food to order in small batches and process it all by hand. This means your bird food is as fresh as possible and hasn't been sat in a warehouse for months. This does however mean we are unlikely to despatch your order same day as we need to make it for you! Please allow 3-5 days for your order to arrive.
Orders over £40 qualify for free delivery to most parts of the UK Mainland. Postcode exclusions apply, details can be found here.
For orders under £40 there is a £3.95 delivery charge.
Returns:
You have the right to return any unwanted goods up to a maximum period of 30 days after you receive the goods. If you cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you are responsible for returning the goods at your own expense.
